Employee satisfaction and health and safety are at the forefront of everything that we do. We have a responsibility to keep our people safe at work and ensure their health and wellbeing.

Rewards and recognition
In recognition of the outstanding service provided on sites across the Australia, Unisec receives hundreds of letters of commendation from our customers each year. Those commended by our customers are acknowledged through our Continuous Improvement Awards scheme. Long Service Awards also recognise the loyalty and dedication to service of the many employees who have worked with us for upwards of five and ten years.

The Blue Book
All Unisec employees are invited to suggest improvements to the operation of their sites or the environment in which they work, in the Blue Book. Our management team and our customers review these suggestions regularly, with ideas implemented wherever possible. Blue Books ideas are also submitted monthly and quarterly to the Unisec Board of Directors, with local and national awards given to individuals and teams that put forward the most effective ideas.

Within our security businesses, all our people are encouraged to participate in regular consultative forums where key issues can be raised and discussed at both a regional and national level.

The Unisec Academy
The Unisec Academy provides a forum for the development of learning and leadership skills for managers across the Unisec Group.

Employee satisfaction surveys
Unisec conducts regular employee satisfaction surveys throughout its business, providing our people with the opportunity to express their opinions, suggest areas for improvement and shape our service delivery going forward.
